🦷 MAIN FEATURES

Last but not least is Oral-B Aquacare 4 water flosser. Oral-B is a beloved dental care brand, so perhaps our expectations of this device were a bit high, to begin with. But when you compare this water flosser, which is not cheap, to the ones that ranked higher, you notice there are things that set it back. Mainly – the total lack of accessories. There was only one nozzle in our box, and while it seems highly innovative and offers a couple of water stream options, it still can’t compare to FlossyFresh or Waterpik in that regard. It is similar to Panasonic, too, but with fewer accessories, a less convenient charging port, and a slightly higher price.

EASE OF USE

This is the category that Oral-B excels at. No countless buttons or dials, no unnecessary features – everything is so simple that even the manual is brief and consistent. The only issue that we could pinpoint was a slight difficulty when removing the nozzle, but it wasn’t even that big of a deal. Size-wise, it’s similar to a Panasonic water flosser, so just a bit bigger than a regular electric toothbrush, meaning you won’t have an issue storing it or taking it on trips. Another great thing about it is that despite not having a lot of buttons or dials, Oral-B can still offer two flossing modes – regular or sensitive – and two water stream types – focused or rotational.

VALUE

Oral-B would undoubtedly rank higher if we only judged water flossers based on their simplicity of use, design, and effectiveness. Unfortunately, it also matters what it can offer compared to other devices, mainly accessories and price. That, alas, is where this water flosser doesn’t excel. While it’s similar to Panasonic in a lot of ways, even that one has two, albeit identical, nozzles. The things that we praised it for are shared by other devices, even on this list. So, while we certainly enjoyed Oral-B as a standalone device, whether it’s worth getting compared to others on this list is up to you to decide.
