This website, consumertrusted.reviews (the "Site"), is operated by Adsflow Marketing OÜ, a private limited company registered in Estonia (registry code 16266444, VAT ID EE102389483), Pärnu mnt 22, Kesklinna linnaosa, 10141 Tallinn, Estonia ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us at hello@consumertrusted.reviews.

The Site is a free online resource offering reviews and comparisons of consumer products. You do not need an account to use it, and we do not sell anything on the Site, process payments, or collect any registration data. The personal data we process is limited to what is described below.

Section 1 - What data we process, and why

Cookies for advertising (only with your consent). When you first visit, a cookie notice lets you accept or decline cookies used for advertisement measurement, personalised advertising and analytics. If you decline, or simply do nothing, no such cookies are set and no advertising data is collected. See Section 2 for details. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

Server and content-delivery logs. Like almost every website, our hosting and content-delivery infrastructure (Amazon Web Services, including Amazon CloudFront) records technical log entries when pages are requested: your IP address, browser information, the page requested (including any advertising click identifiers such as "gclid" or "msclkid" contained in the address), and the time. We use these logs to operate and secure the Site and to keep a record of consent choices (see Section 2). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running and securing the Site (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are retained for up to 13 months and then deleted.

Email you send us. If you contact us at the address above, we process your email address, name and the content of your message in order to reply. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We keep correspondence only as long as needed to handle the matter.

We do not use the data above to make automated decisions about you, and we do not sell personal data.

Section 2 - Cookies and online advertising

With your consent, given via the cookie notice shown on our pages, we and our advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies for advertisement measurement, personalised advertising and analytics. If you decline the notice, or simply do nothing, no such cookies are set.

Our advertising partner for these purposes is Google (Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC), which sets cookies (for example "_gcl_") to measure the performance of our advertising, personalise advertising and analyse how our pages are used. Your choice is stored in a cookie ("ctr_consent") for up to 180 days, and the fact that a choice was made is recorded in our infrastructure logs so that we can demonstrate consent. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time using this link: Privacy choices. Withdrawing consent removes the advertising cookies and stops any further collection.

Section 3 - Who receives data

Personal data may be processed on our behalf, or received as a separate controller, by:

Google (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, and Google LLC, USA) - advertising cookies and related measurement data, only after you consent, as described in Section 2.

Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL and Amazon Web Services, Inc. (USA) - hosting and content delivery, including the technical logs described in Section 1.

When you follow a link from the Site to a brand's or retailer's website, that website is operated by a third party and its own privacy policy applies. We encourage you to read it.

Section 4 - International transfers

Some of the providers above process data in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is protected by an adequacy decision (including the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, to which Google LLC and Amazon Web Services, Inc. are certified) or by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. For transfers from the United Kingdom, the same providers are certified under the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and otherwise the UK Addendum to the Standard Contractual Clauses applies.

Section 5 - How long we keep data

The consent cookie ("ctr_consent") lasts up to 180 days. Google's advertising cookies (the "_gcl_" cookies typically last up to 90 days) are described in Google's cookie documentation at policies.google.com/technologies/cookies. Infrastructure logs are kept for up to 13 months. Email correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry.

Section 6 - Your rights

Under the GDPR (and the UK GDPR if you are in the United Kingdom) you have the right to ask us for access to your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time - for cookies, use the "Privacy choices" link in Section 2 - without affecting the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in Estonia, the Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon); in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner's Office ; or the authority of the country where you live.

Section 7 - Age

The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Section 8 - Changes to this privacy policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we add advertising partners or change providers. The current version is always available on this page. If a change is significant, we will make it prominent on the Site.
