Our fourth pick comes from Remington. It’s not a super pricey option but we felt like it lacked certain features, so we couldn’t rank it higher on our list. What we did like was a high-performance ceramic heating element. It takes merely 10 seconds and Remington hair straightener is ready to be put to work. The plates on this hair straightener are spring-loaded which means that even pressure on the hair is ensured. In general, it is quite a nice option, but the lowest temperature setting is 150°C, which is still super-hot and could be damaging, especially to thinner hair.
DESIGN AND EASE OF USE
Remington Pearl hair straightener is exactly the same as its counterparts on the market in terms of design. You will see that there is a digital temperature display (there are 10 temperature settings), a key lock that makes sure you will not change the temperature by accident, and a turbo boost button that immediately sets the plates to the highest temperature (235°C). Remington comes with a heat-resistant storage bag for convenient storage when the device is not in use.

Even though Remington is an overall nice option, we feel like it’s a bit behind in terms of features. With the lowest temperature setting being 150 degrees, we are not sure if this device is entirely safe for thin or damaged hair. That’s why we couldn’t rank it higher on the list. But if you’re a looking for a way to tame your curls and need a hair straightener that would offer high temperatures, you wouldn’t miss by choosing Remington.
