💡 MAIN FEATURES

Unlike other flashlights on this list, Ledlenser cannot take pride in being exceptionally bright. The maximum brightness of this flashlight is merely 400 lumens, and the maximum beam distance is 280 meters. The former part is a bit disappointing as most flashlights are much brighter than that, but the beam distance is respectable. The brand claims that Ledlenser can work for 2 hours on these settings and up to 35 hours on different settings where brightness is 40 lumens, and beam distance is 100 meters.

PORTABILITY & DESIGN

Weighing 180g, Ledlenser is not very heavy. Also, considering its small size, it makes sense why the weight is no issue. It should be easy to carry Ledlenser around as it has a hook, a hand strap, and a fabric holder. Judging Ledlenser in terms of portability, we have to give credit for those things. We feel like this flashlight would make an excellent hiking companion. Speaking of durability, Ledlenser met the criteria with flying colors. It survived the water test as if it was nothing, and the fall did not seem to do virtually any damage at all. In other words, Ledlenser is a trustworthy flashlight.

EASE OF USE

We were thrilled to discover that Ledlenser is absolutely effortless to use. With its uncomplicated one-button operation, Ledlenser should be easy to master. The button is located in the back of a flashlight. It offers three settings, namely professional, easy, and tactical defense. Unfortunately, the instruction manual does not explain well how to switch between these modes, so understanding the functionality of Ledlenser could get a bit complicated. As for charging, Ledlenser comes with 4 AAA batteries, a type that one can find at any store, so it's ready for use straight away.

VALUE

Ledlenser was the priciest one on our list. It's way above 100 dollars, so it is not exactly the definition of pocket friendly. Considering that it doesn't offer users anything spectacular, it's probably not worth paying that much for an average flashlight. Ledlenser may do everything you need a flashlight to do, but that's about it. You can find much cheaper ones that will have just as many functions as this one. Shipping costs were not covered either, so the price increased even more.
