Kingslim

🚗 MAIN FEATURES
Our second option might be a bit more expensive, but it’s packed with so many fantastic features it would be a crime not to give this dashcam the honorary second place. First and foremost, Kingslim records everything in outstanding quality, thanks to 4K HDR camera. It also features built-in GPS technology which logs the travel speed and the driven route. This is exceptionally useful if you falsely receive a speeding ticket or something of that nature. In other words, everything about your journey will be recorded and saved, so you’ll definitely have an upper hand in case of a dispute.

DESIGN
In terms of design, Kingslim does not differ much from other dashboard cameras. You have a fairly wide touchscreen on your side and a camera lens on the other side. Note that this camera is only front facing, but that shouldn’t be a huge inconvenience because after all, the most important things are what’s happening in front of your car. It easily mounts behind your rear-view mirror and it’s compatible with cars, SUVs, and trucks alike. Kingslim is a heat-resistant dash cam, and it can withstand even rough environmental conditions.

EASE OF USE
Kingslim has a built-in Wi-Fi connection, so it can be linked via the app on your mobile phone. The app can be found on Google Play and App Store, so it doesn’t matter which operating system you use. Then just pair the devices and you’ll be able to live-view the recording, download the videos, and change the camera settings on your phone. You can use Kingslim without an app but utilizing it would open more opportunities to use this dashcam to its full potential. Kingslim’s dashcam supports SD cards of up to 256 GB, meaning that you will have everything safely stored in one tiny card.

VALUE
Overall, Kingslim is a great dashboard camera, even though it’s slightly above the normal price range. However, if you are willing to pay a bit more, then you will certainly find the abundance of features delightful. If you don’t want to use the app (which is actually not the best idea if you’re behind the steering wheel), then you can use this dashcam as you would do it with a regular camera. One thing we know for sure is that if you don’t find DashSentry’s features sufficient, then Kingslim is the best alternative.
