The name and their website suggest that the camera’s resolution is 720p; however, when you click the link to purchase it, the page that opens up has a short summary of the drone’s features and says it has a 480p camera. Other features include a 70-meter control range, 8 minutes of flight time, live video streaming to your phone, altitude control, and more. They’re not bad specs, but other drones on our list offer a little bit more for a similar price.
DESIGN AND PORTABILITY
Drone720X is super compact and lightweight—it weighs only 85 grams! This drone can be folded up and fit even in your pocket, but there is also a travel pouch included for safer carrying. Its body is smooth and small but solid and durable. Drone720X stands out with its funky colorful design—the black body with mint blue details looks exciting and fun.
EASE OF USE
Some drones require more preparation before flying them, but Drone720x can go almost as soon as you take it out of the box. All that needs to be done before take-off is to install the app on your smartphone and connect it to the drone through Wi-Fi. Then you press the power button on the device, and it’s ready to fly! The controls on the app are straightforward and intuitive, so there shouldn’t be any problems mastering that.
VALUE
For a budget drone, Drone720X is pretty good as it offers some relatively decent features. It is compact and portable, and even though the specs aren’t the greatest, you still get a fine device suitable for amateurs. However, we do think that you can get a better deal in this price range, so we had to place it second to last on our list.
