This nebuliser comes with two masks: a smaller one for children and a bigger one for adults. It also includes a mouthpiece, so you can inhale your medicine without a mask. The set also provides a storage box for the device with all its accessories. IH 55 can be powered by a cable, or if you want to use it wirelessly, you’ll have to insert four AA batteries, which is twice more than other battery-powered nebulisers on this list.
EASE OF USE
Beurer IH 55 is really uncomplicated to use. It fits 10 ml of medicinal liquid and quickly atomises it, approximately 0.25 ml/min. However, the produced particles are a bit larger―6 μm, so they might not reach the deeper parts of the lungs as effectively. Another extremely user-friendly function that IH 55 provides is self-cleaning. You can fill the tank with water, and the device will vaporise it, cleaning the membrane of medicine residue.
VALUE
Beurer IH 55 isn’t the best deal on this list, but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad device. This nebuliser is good quality and reasonably priced. And for what it’s worth, it has all the necessary functions of a portable, handheld nebuliser. IH 55 might not be the smallest or the most effective device, but it is definitely worthy of your attention, especially if the other nebulisers failed to impress you. So don’t hesitate to check it out.
