Azdome will get you excited if you’re looking for a more affordable option. Naturally, it shoots in lower video quality, but it also has a few tricks up its sleeve. With this camera, you get seamless loop recording, a built-in G sensor that helps the dashcam lock the video in case of an abnormal collision, a parking monitoring mode, and other useful features. It mostly relies on a mobile app to unlock all the features, but you can use this dashcam manually, too.
DESIGN
Azdome comes with a complete set of accessories, so you can use it immediately after receiving the package. Most importantly, it comes with a Cigarette Lighter Adapter that powers both your phone and the dashcam. Another quite nice feature is ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), although it’s mentioned that it may not perform as expected due to different conditions (most likely weather).
EASE OF USE
Yes, you can use Azdome manually, but the mobile app unlocks Azdome’s full potential. With the app you can see live video streaming, view and download previous videos and share them with people. You even get the opportunity to get a time-lapse video recording. Last but not least, there is an adjustable lens that helps prevent the fish-eye effect on wide highways or large intersections.
VALUE
Even though Azdome is the fourth on our list, it still has the potential to impress its users. Knowing that price also plays a big part, Azdome naturally becomes an appealing option. It’s not that difficult to use, even though it’s also linked with a mobile app. Generally speaking, Azdome is a worthy competitor in the market and if the options before Azdome did not seem appealing to you, Azdome certainly will.
